- The Cradle of Humankind, offers a richer experience at one of the world's most important archaeological sites, comprising the fossil hominid sites of Sterkfontein, Swartkrans, Kromdraai and environs in Gauteng and North West

The variety of natural settings, the abundance of wildlife, and the sheer beauty of the place draw tourists to the area from all over the world. - The uKhahlamba Drakensburg Park in KwaZulu-Natal has outstanding natural beauty, a fascinating and ancient geology, some of the rarest animals in the world - and the largest, richest and most concentrated series of rock art in Africa.
