It is the highest mountain in Africa at 5,894 meters.  This is a mountain climber’s paradise – a challenging trek that includes five distinct ecological zones.

Kilimanjaro is one of the world’s most accessible high summits, an inspiration for visitors from all over the world. A reasonable level of fitness is required and there are six trekking routes to the summit.

The best time to climb is the dry season: late December to February, conditions are clearest and warmest.  From July to September, it is dry and colder.
